It could have been the summer heat, or the carefree atmosphere, but Hollywood's style queens happily traded in their full-length gowns for thigh-baring minidresses at the 2011 Mtv Movie Awards on June 5.

Balmain scored a hat trick in helping three starlets reach new heights. Best Female Performer winner Kristen Stewart  sank her teeth into a Twilighht-appropriate blood-red strapless number embellished with punk-rock safety pins.
